Health & Safety Information
1. Important health notice
KetoTrainer is a self-guided nutrition and lifestyle program. It is not medical care, medical diagnosis, individual medical supervision or emergency care.
KetoTrainer’s program classifications are proprietary program categories used to route the program. They are not diagnoses and do not establish whether you have or do not have a medical condition.
2. When to seek medical care
Contact an appropriately qualified healthcare professional if you have questions about your health, symptoms, medicines, pregnancy, an existing condition or whether a dietary or activity change is appropriate for you.
If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek emergency assistance. In Australia, call 000.
3. Medicines
Do not stop, start, reduce, increase or otherwise change a prescription medicine because of KetoTrainer content. Medication compatibility may affect whether KetoTrainer can offer a program, and uncertainty may require the assessment to stop until the issue can be appropriately resolved.
4. Who may not be suitable
KetoTrainer is not suitable for everyone. Certain health conditions, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, dietary requirements, recovery states or other safety factors may prevent the self-guided program from being offered.
KetoTrainer’s current self-guided V1 programs are for adults aged 18 or over. The assessment should not recommend or sell a program to a person under 18.
5. Fasting
Fasting is not compulsory and is recommended only where the KetoTrainer rules indicate it is appropriate. Some program routes begin with no deliberate fasting. If fasting is not tolerated or causes concerning symptoms, stop the fasting strategy and seek appropriate health advice.
6. Exercise and movement
Movement guidance is general program information, not an individual clinical exercise prescription. Certain health or bone-health information may mean standard KetoTrainer exercise suggestions are withheld. Seek individual professional advice when appropriate.
7. Food allergies, exclusions and dietary requirements
You are responsible for accurately identifying known allergies, intolerances and foods you must avoid. If KetoTrainer does not have an existing suitable meal route for your requirements, the assessment may be unable to offer a program rather than inventing substitutions.
Always check food labels, ingredients, preparation methods and cross-contamination risks relevant to your circumstances.
8. Results vary
No particular weight-loss, body-composition, metabolic, symptom or health outcome is guaranteed. Completing a 12-week stage does not automatically mean you should progress. A later Progress Check and current safety information determine the program’s next step.
9. Changes in your health
If your health, pregnancy status, medicines, symptoms or dietary requirements materially change after your assessment, do not assume the previous recommendation remains suitable. Follow the KetoTrainer reassessment/safety process and seek professional care where appropriate.
10. Mental health and eating concerns
If you have an active eating disorder, significant eating-disorder risk, or serious concerns about restrictive eating, KetoTrainer’s self-guided program may not be suitable. Seek appropriate professional support.
